Universal Accessibility (UA) refers to the design of products and services to be used by all people.
Universal Access is a right enshrined in our constitution, and the National Tourism Sector Strategy advocates strongly for this right. We work in partnership with the private sector to create awareness and encourage tourism operators to implement best-practice standards.
This manual has been designed for all categories of establishment owners as well as assessors to use as a quick reference guide. The building facilities apply to all the establishment types except where otherwise specified.
