I have been involved with different areas of tourism for more than 36 years. I was the Regional Sales Manager for Southern Sun and Holiday Inn for the Free State and Northern Cape. I joined the Free State Provincial Government after 1994. During my tenure in Government, I was involved with both Tourism and Environmental Affairs. The portfolios I held gave me experience in both marketing and the management of the Provincial resorts and reserves. I was privileged to join the Tourism Grading Council as an assessor which gives me a wonderful, fulfilling vocation in a field that I am extremely passionate about.
